1. Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna, Bihar and lost his mother in 2002. Most of his social media posts were dedicated to his mother Usha Singh. Once, one of his fans asked him the meaning of his name, to which SSR replied, “It means anything and everything at the same time. The best part is the middle heart part of my name which is also my mother's name; s USHA nt. See, how wonderful”

2. Extremely brilliant and studious Sushant had got 7th Rank in AIEEE and also won the National Olympiad in Physics. He got admission in the prestigious Delhi College for Engineering, now known as Delhi Technical University (DTU). But after completing three glorious years he dropped out to follow his heart and pursue a career in stage and acting.

3. Sushant joined the dance troupes of Shiamak Davar and appeared in the title track of 'Dhoom 2' as a background dancer. Other than that, he got a chance to be a part of Aishwarya Rai’s performance in the closing ceremony of 2006 Commonwealth Games.

4. When his stage journey was continuing great, he joined Balaji Telefilms as a part of the casting team. Later on, he appeared in a daily soap titled 'Kis Desh Me Hai Mera Dil' and finally got the lead role in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ with Ankita Lokhande.

5. His enthusiasm for space and astronomy was no secret, and he bought a top-notch telescope called Meade 14″ LX600. Also, the actor was a proud owner of a piece of lunar land on the far side of the moon. Yes! SSR bought a region on Moon named Mare Muscoviense or the 'Sea of Muscovy.
