Abhishek Bachchan has been creating a huge buzz lately for multiple reasons. The actor last impressed fans with his performance in 'The Big Bull'. Up next, Abhishek has many interesting projects in the pipeline and his fans are looking forward to them. And now, according to a latest report, he has acquired rights to the 2019 Tamil thriller Oththa Seruppu Size 7. Not just that, Abhishek has also started shooting for the same in Chennai.
According to TOI, Abhishek is producing the movie under his banner and is also closely involved with the project, which will be directed by Parthiban. Oththa Seruppu Size 7, which has won two National Awards, was written and directed by R Parthiban. He also starred in it. The movie is being shot at a steady pace under strict protocols as they plan to wrap it in a start-to-finish schedule. Cell-phones are not allowed on the sets as they want to keep details of the project under wraps.
A trade source told Mid-Day, "The project is Abhishek's baby. From flying down to Chennai to initiate talks, to setting up the production infrastructure, he has been thoroughly involved. Parthiban, who is helming the remake, will retain the gritty flavour of the original, but will tweak it to appeal to the pan-India audience."
Talking about his other upcoming projects, Abhishek will be seen in Tushar Jalota's Dasvi. It also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. On the other hand, he has also wrapped up the shoot of 'Bob Biswas'. The same is produced by Shah Rukh Khan with Sujoy's daughter Divya.
