Amit Sadh and R Madhavan's Breathe did exceptionally well on the digital space earlier this year. The web-series was gritty and kept you to at the edge of your seats. Now, the makers of the show have announced the new season of the show, and this time it features Abhishek Bachchan. This will be the first outing for Junior Bachchan on the digital space. Although Abhishek’s fans will be elated with this news, unfortunately Madhavan’s fans will not see him in the sequel.

Abhishek took to social media to announce the news. He wrote, "Thrilled to announce my digital debut with the second season of the @PrimeVideoIN original @breatheamazon created & produced by @abundantiaent & @ivikramix and directed by @mayankvsharma. Looking forward to a fascinating ride @TheAmitSadh Let’s do this! #Breathe2 (sic)."


Amit, who carries on playing the character of Kabir Sawant in the new season, also took to social media to welcome Abhishek. He wrote, "AND... I'm back as Kabir Sawant in an all-new season of the @PrimeVideoIN original @BreatheAmazon created & produced by @abundantiaent & @ivikramix and directed by @mayankvsharma. Truly excited to have you on board @bachchan Looking forward to #Breathe2 (sic)."


For those who have come in late, the series revolves around one question – how far will you go to protect the one you love. The first season had two desperate and driven men (Amit and Madhavan) who engaged in an ultimate cat and mouse game in order to save the one they loved.
