The delay in the release of Abhishek Bachchan’s Harshad Mehta biopic, The Big Bull has led to much speculation on the film being put on hold to avoid comparisons with the web series Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992.
But now, The Big Bull is all set to be streamed on Disney-Hoststar from April 8.
Abhishek Bachchan, who plays Harshad Mehta in The Big Bull, remains supremely confident about his project. “We’ve made the film we wanted to, and it’s turned to everyone's satisfaction. Hopefully, the audience will not compare The Big Bull with Scam 1992. They are two different creations, though based on the same subject.”
Abhishek points out Ajay Devgan and Bobby Deol playing Bhagat Singh during the same year 2002. No one compared the two performances.
Scam 1992, though, has been highly appreciated and has won critical accolades too. We hope that The Big Bull too turns out to be a winner.
