Abhishek Bachchan Reveals How ‘Sensible’ Wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Reminded Him Of His Learnings In Lockdown
In an interview, Abhishek Bachchan talks about his lockdown phase and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who reminded him of what the lockdown helped him learn
The lockdown that has been observed since March 2020, has seen many actors adopting and learning new things, right from exploring the culinary department to picking up a new hobby or finding their inner talent. Recently actor Abhishek Bachchan was asked what he learned during the lockdown phase and thanks to his ‘sensible’ and ‘wonderful’ wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he was reminded about his learnings. In a recent interview, the Big Bull actor revealed how he was reminded of what the lockdown gave him thanks to his wife. He says that she puts ‘lives into focus and put you back on track’.
Sharing his thoughts, Abhishek told BollywoodBubble, "I'm always asked, 'What did you do during the lockdown?' Some people learned to cook, some people have picked up a new language... I was speaking to my wife about this, and as all wives do, they put your lives into focus and put you back on track. She said, 'For the first time in your life, you got to spend an entire year with your family, and your family is safe and healthy today'. And when she said that, apart from being appreciative of having such a wonderful and sensible wife, it's so true.” Junior Bachchan further added that he gets to do what he loves and go back home to his happy and healthy family.
Last year, Abhishek and Aishwarya battled COVID-19 along with their daughter Aaradhya and father Amitabh Bachchan, and all have recovered from the deadly virus. On the work front, Abhishek will be seen next in Dasvi with Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur whereas Aishwarya will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
