Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Zoya Akhtar, Sajid Khan Celebrate Farah Khan’s Wedding Anniversary
It was party time for Farah Khan last night as her close friends got together to celebrate her belated wedding anniversary at Sonali Bendre’s house
Sometimes you party on occasions, sometimes without any occasion and sometimes you celebrate a belated occasion. That’s what happened last night at Sonali Bendre’s residence in Juhu. Sonali organized a small get-together at her house to celebrate Farah Khan’s wedding anniversary. Although Farah completed 12 years of her marriage with Shirish Kunder on December 9, the celebration happened last night.
It was a sweet gesture from Sonali Bendre to organize this small dinner party which was attended by Farah Khan’s close friend Abhishek Bachchan with sister Shweta Bachchan, Zoya Akhtar, and brother Sajid Khan.
It was a small affair which wrapped up around 11:30 pm. Abhishek was the first one to reach Sonali’s house.
Farah Khan tied the nuptial knot with Shirish Kunder on Dec 9, 2004. On her 12th wedding anniversary, Farah Khan posted a lot of nostalgic pictures from her wedding functions. Check them out:
Shirish was the editor for Farah Khan’s directorial debut-Main Hoon Na starring Shah Rukh Khan, Zayed Khan, Sushmita Sen and Amrita Rao. The two worked again in films like Jaan-E-Mann, Om Shanti Om, and Tees Maar Khan. Khan gave birth to triplets in 2008; one son and two daughters.
While Farah Khan is busy judging the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 9 with Karan Johar and Jacqueline Fernandez, Shirish Kunder was last in news for his short film-Kriti starring Radhika Apte and Manoj Bajpayee. While Shirish received great reviews for the film, he was later accused of lifting the plot from a Nepali film.
However, the charges could not be proved and Shirish sent out a legal notice to the Nepali filmmakers demanding apology (Shirish Kunder sends legal notice to filmmaker, Jun 28).
