Abhishek Bachchan To Lead The Cast of Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan?
As per the latest buzz, Junior Bachchan will now helm the cast of Anurag Kashyap and Aanand L Rai’s ambitious project....
Anurag Kashyap and Aanand L Rai are putting their joint
might behind Manmarziyan. While the film did face initial roadblocks, it’s all
hunky dory for the producer-director duo now, as Abhishek Bachchan has been
approached to helm the cast.
A few days ago, there were reports about Taapsee Pannu and Malyalam actor Dulquer Salmaan being approached for the film but there was no confirmation from the makers about it. Latest reports suggest that Junior Bachchan has now been approached for this mega project. SpotboyE.com had earlier told you that parts of Manmarziyan were shot with Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana, but the film had to be put on the back burner, before it made much headway.
This musical chairs was not just limited to the casting of the movie. Before
director Anurag Kashyap stepped in, Aanand L Rai had roped in Luv Shuv Tey
Chicken Khuranna director Sameer Sharma for the project. But this partnership
didn’t work out! Manmarziyan was then handed over to Nil Battey Sannata director Ashwini Iyer
Tiwari who got tied up with Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film landed in cold storage
and both Ayushmann and Bhumi got busy with other projects.
But now, things are back on track and headed in the right direction, with
Anurag’s entry and a promise of Abhishek being on-board.
