Koena Mitra Gets Lewd Calls, Files Sexual Harassment Case

Actress Koena Mitra, who was seen in the movie Musafir, Apna Sapna Money Money, Hey Babyy and Dark Romance, faced a harrowing time on Saturday, July 26.

The 33-year-old actress has been harassed by many phone calls from an unknown person, asking her out. Getting irked by the vigorous calls, she has finally lodged a complaint with the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. The actress has registered a sexual harassment complaint on Saturday (26 July), after she received nearly 40-50 unknown calls the past 7 days.

According to a report in a leading publication, the caller started abusing her, following which he asked her on a night out, offering her money!

The officer who is handling the sensitive issue said: “We have booked the caller under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC and are investigating the case further.”

In the recent past, Sonarika Bhadoria, Sonu Walia, and Avani Modi have faced such disturbing calls.
