Adipurush Trailer LEAKED: Netizens Express Disappointment As Snippets Go VIRAL Hours Before Its Release
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush has certainly become one of the most anticipated projects in Bollywood. While a section of fans are eager to see their favourite actors as the mythological characters, others are excited to know what ‘specific changes’ the makers have made in the movie. Ever since the teaser of Om Raut directorial received backlash, netizens have been waiting for the makers to finally release the trailer of the movie. Well, it seems like some fans couldn’t wait any longer as they leaked clips from the trailer on social media.

Well, hours before the scheduled release of the film’s trailer, the team of Adipurush had held a special screening for a few fans in Hyderabad. Soon after the event, clips from the trailer were released by the fans on social media and in no time they went viral. According to a report by India TV, the team of the film is doing their best to take all necessary measures to take down the leaked videos and tweets. 

After witnessing the leaked clips, many fans and netizens took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the movie. Memes are being circulated online that make fun of the VFX, Prabhas’ looks. One even wrote, “Just saw the "new" #AdipurushTrailer. Honestly it is as bad as the old one. Showing more scenes won't make it better.”

Talking about the backlash the teaser of the movie faced, Om Raut during a media interaction had said, “We wanted to tell the story of Shri Ram and 'Ramayana' to the youth of not just our nation but the entire world.” He had gone on to express how facing such challenges only make cinema better and the journey stronger. He added, “Especially with a film like this, which is a first of its kind in India, as we have used technology that is seen in big Hollywood films like Marvels, DC and 'Avatar'.”

Set to release on June 16, the movie stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh in lead roles. Co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Adipurush will be released in multiple languages. Before being released in India, it will be showcased at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
