Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor Relive The Mumbai Spirit In OK Jaanu’s Title Track
The lead pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor unleash their free-spirited side in this number and the track is sure to strike a chord with the audiences
After receiving a mixed response for re-creating the iconic Humma Humma, the makers of OK Jaanu released the title track of the film a while ago. In the song we get a glimpse of the free-spirited side of the lead actors – Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
The song is the Hindi version of the original Mental Manadhil from the Tamil film, O Kadal Kanmani (2015). To be fair, the composition is the same with AR Rahman rendering the vocals and the track will definitely resonate with the listeners. The only drawback of the number is that at the certain places the lyrics (penned by Gulzar) seem to have been fit forcibly into the original tune.

The picturisation -- whereby the actor and actress enjoy a bike ride around Mumbai – has also been retained, which is a visual treat.
After tasting immense success with Aashiqui 2, former lovers Aditya and Shraddha are reuniting for OK Jaanu. Directed by Shaad Ali of Saathiya fame, the film is set to hit the theatres on January 13, 2016.
OK Jaanu is the official remake of O Kadal Kanmani that featured popular actors Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan in lead roles and was a box-office hit.
