Coronavirus is sparing no one. Many celebrities are testing positive for Coronavirus. From Aamir Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Sidshant Chaturvedi to Sachin Tendulkar, many stars have reported to be Coronavirus positive. Adding to the list is Alia Bhatt. The lead star of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi tested positive and has immediately quarantined herself. The actress broke the news on social media by thanking all her fans for well-wishes. Amidst this, Alia's beau Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted a happy throwback picture with Alia Bhatt.

The picture that has been shared by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni sees her posing along with Alia Bhatt who is smiling from ear-to-ear, her sister Shaheen Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor. The picture seems to be from their Christmas celebrations. All of them can be seen dressed in pretty black outfits. She did not write much in the caption, just added the '#throwback'.

It was just recently that Ranbir Kapoor recuperated from Coronavirus. He was also in isolation at home. And now it is Alia who has tested positive. The director of her film Sanjay Leela Bhansali too had tested positive for Coronavirus in the past.
As the news of Alia testing positive for COVID-19 hit headlines, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) ordered the team of Gangubai Kathiawadi to halt the shooting of the film for a few days. They have also been asked to follow the protocol and undertake the sanitization work on the sets.
