After Arjun Kapoor, Papa Boney Kapoor To Collaborate With Janhvi Kapoor For Bombay Girl, Details Inside
Janhvi Kapoor is all set to star in papa Boney Kapoor’s upcoming film Bombay Girl, which will see the actress in a never-seen-before avatar and we know the details!
It was with Dhadak that Janhvi Kapoor forayed into films and ever since then, there has been no stopping her. The 22-year-old has already signed a lot of big films as her next and if the latest reports are anything to go by, it looks like Janhvi Kapoor has now signed yet another film. Well, this one is going to be a little extra special because she will be collaborating with her daddy dearest, Boney Kapoor. As per a report in Hindustan Times, the film in question has been titled Bombay Girl and is expected to go on floors at the beginning of next year.
A source close to the filmmaker revealed to the daily that Bombay Girl will see Janhvi Kapoor in a never seen before avatar. Needless to say, this one will be a special project for the father-daughter duo, as they will be teaming up for the first time. Also, for this film, Boney Kapoor will be pairing up with a renowned Bollywood producer, Mahaveer Jain. Further, the film will be written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, and the actress is very excited about this one.
HT also got in touch with Boney Kapoor and the filmmaker instantly confirmed. He stated being excited about the film and working Janhvi. The producer added how Janhvi will be doing something completely different. Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, expressed her elation saying, “I can promise one thing that it will be an unforgettable story.”
Meanwhile, only recently it was announced that Boney Kapoor will be backing up the Hindi remake of Comali that will star his son Arjun Kapoor in the lead role.
