After Being Turned Down By Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan Leaves Perfume Brand Fuming
Weeks back reports of Kartik Aaryan losing out on a Karan Johar film made headlines. Now, according to latest reports, Kartik has again lost out on a perfume brand courtesy, his over-enthusiastic team
Looks like, luck is not in favour of Kartik Aaryan as
he’s been turned down by a filmmaker and a brand in the recent past. A few
months back, reports were abuzz that Kartik has lost on a Karan Johar movie as
he made an announcement before the filmmakers could. Now, he has done it yet
again. Despite a perfume telling him to keep the news of him coming on-board
under wraps, his team spread the news like wildfire.
A source close to the perfume brand told DNA, "Kartik
had signed a contract with us. But he went ahead and made an announcement,
without informing anyone. His team and he should have known that this is a
breach of contract on their part."
The source added, “Why was Kartik in such a hurry to tell
the world? Now, the brand has apparently decided to hold up his payment till he
meets them and talks things over. He's already shot for the commercial and had
agreed on a good price, so the management is now trying to work things out.”
Earlier, it was reported that Kartik had lost out on a
KJo film courtesy his team. A source had told a section of media, “Kartik had
been sent feelers from Dharma to meet for a possible role, nothing concrete.
But his team messed it up by splashing the news that he had been signed by
Karan Johar. No such thing had actually happened. As if this was not enough to
piss off Karan, Kartik’s team also leaked out the false news that Kartik was
going to be paired with Kareena Kapoor, when she was actually opposite Akshay
in the film.”
