However, the filmmaker has already begun working on his next venture. And guess what? Sajid has signed Nitesh Tiwari, whose Dangal went on to become the biggest success in Bollywood history, for his next.

Buzz is that Sajid was spellbound by the script written by Nitesh and decided to back the project almost instantly. Nitesh, who has been working on the subject for 15 years, couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Reports suggest that the film will go on floors next year and will be made on a grand scale.

Nitesh’s last outing, Dangal, a biographical sports drama, which won the SpotboyE Salaam Award for the Best Film, stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra and revolves around Mahavir Singh Phogat (essayed by Aamir) who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita Kumari (Sanya Malhotra) in wrestling. The sisters go on to achieve firsts for Indianwrestling at the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.

Sajid’s upcoming production Rangoon has generated immense curiosity amongst audiences owing to the cast, music and its trailer.

The romantic drama is set against the backdrop of World War II and showcases the love triangle between a film producer (Saif), an army man (Shahid) and a Bollywood queen (Kangana).

Back to Sajid and Nitesh’s collaboration, we are looking forward to what the two have in store.
