After Kangana Ranaut Leaves Mumbai, Congress Leader Sachin Sawant Raises Questions Over Her Claims About Knowing Drug Mafia And Calls It A Hoax
Kangana Ranaut arrived in Mumbai on September 9 and was accompanied by sister Rangoli Chandel. After a week of drama that included a war of words with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, ongoing tussle with Maharashtra government, demolition of the parts of her Mumbai office by the BMC, calling Mumbai Pok, Taliban, Kangana returned to her hometown Manali.  After Kangana Ranaut left Mumbai after a week in the city, Congress leader Sachin Sawant raises questions. Sawant questioned whether Kangana’s so claimed knowledge of the Bollywood drug mafia was nothing more than a hoax.

On Twitter, Sachin Sawant reacted to a news story which reported Kangana Ranaut’s return to her hometown. Reacting to the report, Sachin Sawant tweeted, “@KanganaTeam has returned to HP. Really surprised! What abt her knowledge of drug mafia and Bollywood connection? Wasn't it her duty to give information she has to NCB? Isn't it a crime to withhold information about a crime under IPC 202 & 176 also in ndps act? Or was it a hoax?”

Sachin Sawant questioned Kangana’s return to Himachal Pradesh and mentioned he is ‘really surprised’. The Congress leader questioned about Ranaut’s knowledge of the drug mafia and Bollywood connection. He then asked that wasn’t it Kangana’s duty to share the information she has regarding the drug mafia to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Sawant then said that isn’t it a crime to withhold information about a crime under IPC 202 & 176 also in NDPS act. Sachin Sawant concluded his tweet questioning if Kangana Ranaut’s claims were nothing more than a hoax.


It was Kangana Ranaut who accused 99 per cent of those people associated with Bollywood of being on drugs. Later, a video of March 2020 featuring the Manikarnika actress talking about her being a ‘drug addict’ during her early days in Bollywood resurfaced on the internet. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut shared a tweet on social media along with a video recently.  In the tweet, Ranaut informed fans through her Twitter that it was time to head back.
