In actor Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday in connection to the drugs angle. Rhea’s arrest came after she was interrogated three times in a row by the NCB officials, after her brother Showik Chakraborty’s arrest. Later, it was reported that Rhea named 15 Bollywood celebrities who consume drugs during her questioning. Now, as Bollywood tackles with drug abuse allegations, Kangana Ranaut’s old video from March where she claims to be a drug addict resurfaces.
On her social media handles, Kangana Ranaut’s team shared videos of the actress during the Navratras. Back in March, in a video shared on Kangana’s official social media handles, the actress claimed that she used to be a drug addict. In the video, the Manikarnika actress said, “Soon as I ran away from my house, I became a film star in a couple of years and a drug addict. So much stuff was happening in my life, I fell into the hands of such people and all of this happened while I was still a teenager. Imagine how dangerous I am.”
Amidst Bollywood dealing with drug abuse allegations, the video posted in March when Kangana was in her home town of Manali goes viral. In the video that was posted on the fifth day of the Navratras, Kangana narrated her story and opened up about what happened during her early days when she ran away from her house to become a film star. On the other hand, Kangana had also recently claimed that during her beginning days as an actor, a ‘character actor’ used to drug her.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has been very vocal on the case against Rhea Chakraborty. The actress has extended her support to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and continues to seek justice for him. On the other hand, Kangana claimed that 99% of Bollywood engages in the use of drugs where many celebrities including Raveena Tandon went on and objected to the generalisation. Kangana also asked Mumbai Police to conduct a drug test to investigate if she had links with drug peddlers.
