After Taapsee Pannu, Isha Koppikar Opens Up On Getting Replaced By Star Kid; ‘Got Replaced Before The Muhurat Shot And The Actor Is A Superstar Now’
The nepotism debate seems never-ending. Time and again Bollywood actors come out in the open about getting replaced in a film or TV show. Every now and then we read about one getting replaced by another. Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has re-ignited the nepotism debate and many celebs are now coming out in the open to speak about how they were replaced and did not get a fair chance in the big-budget film.

After Taapsee Pannu now it is Isha Koppikar who has spoken about one such incident. During her recent interview with an entertainment portal, the actress, who is now less seen in the limelight, said that she once got replaced just before the muhurat shot. Not only that Isha also said if someone is dating somebody and the heroine is his muse or girlfriend then she’s likely to the role.

Speaking to Pinkvilla she said, “A lot of times, I was about to get a role, but then somebody called. The father or mother would call and the starlet would get it. If somebody is with someone and the heroine is his muse or girlfriend, then she would get the role. All this has happened to me.” Further narrating an incident, Isha said, “I was about to go for the mahurat and it happened. I will not talk about the star. He is a superstar today.”

Earlier, Taapsee Pannu too had opened up on getting replaced by a star kid. Speaking to India Today, Taapsee had said, “I have been replaced in a lot of films by star kids. But I refuse to be bitter about it. I reached a point when I didn't seek validation from them. That's when I decided to make my own path. You don't need any validation, they haven't come to screenings of my films or tweeted about them, but does that make my films bad? No.”  (Also Read: Amid Feud With Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu Shares A Cryptic Post: ‘Kill Them With Success And Bury Them With A Smile’)
