After Ugly Spat, Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan And Sajid Nadiadwala Reunite In One Frame
Theirs was a friendship which stood the test of time and delivered hits but a few years ago, the trio of Sajid Nadiadwala, Sajid Khan and Akshay Kumar split up. But a reconciliation has taken place. We have the details
Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala met while they were students at Don Bosco school in Mumbai. They stepped into Bollywood together and collaborated on eight films over the next two decades, from Waqt Hamara Hai in 1993 to Housefull 3 which released earlier this year.
Akshay fondly calls Nadiadwala, Sethji, while the filmmaker calls the actor Sundi. Both got married the same year (2000) and Sajid’s son Subhaan was born two days after Akshay’s son Aarav, in the same hospital.
Then Sajid Khan joined the duo to create one of the most powerful Actor-Director-Producer trio in Bollywood.

They delivered hit after hit, starting from Heyy Babyy in 2007 and then moved onto Housefull and Housefull 2.
Then came the whispers that Sajid Khan has been bad-mouthing Akshay at private parties. Plus, during an interview, he claimed that his films had helped end Akshay's dry patch at the box-office.
"Housefull 1 and Housefull 2, sort of, got Akshay out of a bad patch of six to seven flop films. He had a run of six to seven flop films, after which Housefull became the first big grosser in 2010. Then again, he had a patch of six to seven films. Then again, it was Housefull 2," Sajid was quoted as saying.
Not surprisingly, Sajid's comments did not go down well with Akshay, who promptly called him and gave him a piece of his mind. Headlines talked of a big showdown and obviously, Nadiadwala took Akshay's side in this spat.
When word about the fiasco reached Nadiadwala, he decided Sajid would not direct Housefull 3. Sajid was also replaced as the director of Salman Khan-starrer Kick which released in 2015.
While Akshay continued his friendship with Nadiadwala, Sajid fell on tough times after two of his big-ticket films, Himmatwala and Humshakals flopped at the box-office.
Then the rumours of a reconciliation started and when Sajid Khan was photographed with Akshay and Nadiawala at the latter's birthday, it seemed to confirm the reports.
Now the trio is reaffirming their friendship out in public. Nadiadwala and Akshay will the guests in the grand finale of Sajid's talk show Yaaron Ki Baarat.
A picture of the reunion was posted by Sajid on Twitter, confirming the appearance.
Now the big question is, will the trio talk about their spat or will they glaze over the past?
