AGAIN! Shah Rukh Khan detained at US airport
Yesterday, we told you about Shah Rukh Khan taking off to the US for a vacay with kids Aryan and Suhana (SRK sees off Dream Team before flying off to London with his kids, August 11). Well, it seems to have begun on a wrong note, with King Khan being detained at an airport in the US.

SRK took to Twitter to share his disappointment. However, he seemed to make light of the situation by also talking about Pokemons.

This is not the first time Shah Khan has been detained at a US airport. The earlier episode in 2009 went something like this: Khan arrived at White Plains Airport on a small private plane along with industrialist spouse Nita Ambani and some others en route to Yale University, where the Bollywood megastar was to receive a Chubb fellowship and deliver a speech.

While Ambani and others were cleared swiftly, SRK was reportedly stopped for extended questioning about his programme. By his own account, related in interactions with students when he finally reached Yale some three hours behind schedule, he was held for 90 minutes. Others said it was two hours.

Shah Rukh is not the only Indian celebrity to have been questioned in the US. Aamir Khan was strip-searched at Chicago in 2002, John Abraham was stopped in New York for having Afghanistan as a country visited on his passport, and fair skinned Neil Nitin Mukesh was stopped in New York because authorities didn’t believe he was Indian.
