Ahead of the trailer launch of Thalaivi, it calls for double celebration for actor Kangana Ranaut; first, she was conferred with the National Film Award as Best Actress for Panga and Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi at the 67th National Film Awards while second, it is Kangana’s 34th birthday today. However, yesterday, after winning the National Film Award, Kangana headed to Chennai for the Thalaivi trailer launch event, and there, she celebrated her birthday as well as her national award win at midnight with her team.
Her team arranged for some delicious cakes, champagne and wine, giving a little surprise to the birthday girl. Granting us little glimpses of the inside celebration, Kangana took to her Instagram stories to share a couple of snaps from the celebration which looks pretty happening. In one picture, Kangana is seen posing with two cakes placed in front of her along with a bottle of champagne while she gleefully smiles for the click. Whereas, Ms Ranaut shared another picture of her cake which congratulates her for her national award win.
For the event, the actor was seen wearing a simple yet elegant off-white plain saree with a sleeveless blouse while tying her hair in a bun. She looked extremely beautiful in the pictures.
Meanwhile, pumping up the audience's excitement for the Thalaivi trailer which is set to release today, she shared a small video on Instagram yesterday, captioning, “She entered the world of cinema and made it her own, she forayed into politics and became an icon.
