Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Latest Photoshoot 'Inspired' Not Just From Kate Winslet But From Julia Roberts’ Look Too
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ladder pose got called out by fashion critic Diet Sabya for being a copy of Kate Winslet’s pose yesterday. Turns out, her latest photo shoot for Falguni and Shane Peacock was not just inspired by Kate Winslet, but also from Julia Roberts who posed against a huge rock in a similar pose!
Fashion critic Diet Sabya, whose anonymous Instagram account keeps a check on the copy culture in the Bollywood film industry, have a huge following on Instagram. They call out and expose mostly designers and stylists for outright copying someone else’s piece of art. Yesterday on their list of copycats was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan! Her recent shot for designer Falguni and Shane Peacock was accused by the Insta critics of copying the ladder pose. Turns out, the pose is not just a blatant copy of Kate Winslet's pose, it is also very similar to another pose by Julia Roberts!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s photoshoot saw the gorgeous actress don a stunning red gown with a huge trail. She poses against the ladder in the backdrop of huge buildings and it has reportedly been copied from Harper Bazaar’s cover featuring Kate Winslet posing in the exact same way. Diet Sabya was quick to pint it out and also shared a collage of pictures demonstrating their similarities. However, looks like that’s not all! There is another picture in the same post of Julia Robert striking a similar pose against a huge rock in a photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar. Aishwarya’s pose definitely looks inspired by both of these photoshoots. Take a look at the pictures here:
Commenting on the same, a user wrote, “Mag: Ash, would you like to hang on by a mountain for our next shoot Ash: well... , is it okay if I just hang on through some ladder ? I mean," let's play safe" Mag: Oh sure! Such a genius. We can call it a improvisation then!”
A while ago, the Insta account had called out Mrunal Thakur and Lisa Haydon’s designers for carrying the same designs for the saree dresses they wore on different occasions. They recently also accused the makers of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho for copying the poster of the film.
In other news, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the film Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and will next be seen in a Mani Ratnam film.
