Saaho Box-Office Collection Day 2: Prabhas And Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Has A Busy Day At The Ticket Windows

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho earns Rs 25.50 Cr on the second day of its release. Total collections of the movie in 2 days now stand at Rs 49.60 Cr. Saaho released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on August 30, 2019

Saaho shows a slight rise in the box-office collection on second day of its release. Opening as the 3rd highest BO office opener of 2019 with Rs 24.40 Cr following Bharat which opened on Rs 42.30 Cr and Mission Mangal with Rs 29.16 Cr. The movie has amassed Rs 25.20 Cr on its second day at the box-office. Totaling up its two days collections to Rs 49.60 Cr. Movie is also doing well in Delhi NCR and East Punjab circuit keeping in mind the action-thriller genre.


Trade analyst Taran Adarsh overwhelmed with the rise in the box-office collection mentioned in his tweet of Saaho enjoying an outstanding response at the ticket window even on day 2. Further he stated in his tweet how movie should be reach Rs 70 Cr mark around the weekend. Taran's Tweet reads, "#Saaho is outstanding on Day 2... Brand #Prabhas - who enjoys PAN India popularity - is attracting moviegoers in large numbers... Eyes ₹ 70 cr+ weekend, a fantastic 3-day total... Fri 24.40 cr, Sat 25.20 cr. Total: ₹ 49.60 cr Nett BOC. India biz. #Hindi version."


Though it released on a non-holiday spot it has managed a decent opening however, according to critics it didn't meet expectations of the viewers. Also not so popular starcast has added to movie's slow start, maintaining a linear pace. Though Prabhas got overnight fame with Baahubali in the Hindi territory, his attempt to spear through the Hindi market didn't do much for the movie.

Rating the movie Two and a half star SpotboyE Editor, Vickey Lalwani wrote in his review, "As I trudge out from this Sujeeth's lactic acid- inducing 'bonanza', I wonder why Prabhas frequently kept saying in the second half  'It's showtime'. Well, I see a few early birds having rushed in for the next show and connect that dialogue for just the heck. Oh yes, I mean you really stop caring soon enough into the film- TOO MANY plots, TOO MANY villains, TOO MANY chases and NO substance."

Saaho released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles on August 30.
