Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been approached by director Koratala Siva to play the lead alongside South megastar Chiranjeevi
The beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is known for her beauty and talented acting skills. After starring alongside superstar Rajnikanth, the latest update states that the actress is approached to be the lead in a big film with another South biggie. Aish has been approached by popular director from the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu.
The director Koratala Siva has moved on to his next film after Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu. Siva has reportedly joined hands with Megastar Chiranjeevi for his upcoming film. There is nothing official as of regarding the film yet, neither any statement has been made by director or the star, but the film is said to be on the lines of a social subject. The recent news here is that the actress has been approached to play lead in the film.
According to a report in TOI, Aishwarya has been approached to play the female lead in the film, but is yet to sign on the dotted line. There is no official confirmation regarding the same as of yet. Earlier, actress Nayanthara's name was considered for the same role, but as she has worked with Chiranjeevi earlier in Sye Raa, the director wanted a fresh and popular face for his film. If all goes well, the film will go on floors once Chiranjeevi has completed all his projects. Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi has also been roped in to compose the music for Koratala Siva’s directorial.

The director has been planning to make a bigger and better film after the success of his last film Bharat Ane Nenu. On work front, Chiranjeevi is starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a Telugu biopic based on the life of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The Tollywood superstar will also be seen sharing the screen with Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia.
