Ajay Devgn’s Father, Veteran Action Director Veeru Devgan Passes Away
Veeru Devgan, Bollywood’s ace action director, and Ajay Devgn’s father is no more. He was keeping unwell since a long time and breathed his last, a few hours back
Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgan, Bollywood’s famous action director, passed away, a few hours back as he succumbed to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to Surya hospital, Santacruz as he complained of breathlessness, this morning.
Ajay Devgn had cancelled a few interviews during the promotion of his film, De De Pyaar De, in the last 15 days, citing his father’s failing health.
Veeru Devgan is known for his impeccable work in films like Dilwale (1994), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshaah (1988), to name just a few. He choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films. He also directed a film – Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999).
The funeral will be held at Vile Parle crematorium at 6 PM, today.
