Ajay's Golmaal 4 Vs Rajinikanth & Akshay's 2.0: Is Devgn Headed For Another Box-Office Blunder?
Ajay Devgn does not seem to have learnt any lessons from the thumping that Shivaay got at the hands of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. This time he is planning to go up against none other than the mighty combo of Rajinikanth & Akshay
This weekend saw one of the biggest film launches we have seen in a while. Karan Johar was the host, Salman Khan gatecrashed the party and the film's reported budget is an unprecedented Rs 300 crore. We are talking about the much-hyped 2.0, starring Southern superstar Rajinikanth, Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar and British beauty Amy Jackson.

While the rest of the film industry is cheering on Rajini and Akshay, a lone ranger is preparing to battle his might with the duo at the box-office. It is none other than Ajay Devgn. Hey Ram! Ajay starrer Golmaal 4 is set for release on Diwali 2017, the same weekend when 2.0 hits theatres. And this is not the first time that Ajay has gone up at the box-office against bigger films.

Ajay's latest outing, Shivaay which he directed and starred in, failed to recover its cost, in its ego clash versus Ranbir Kapoor-Aishwarya Rai-Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Then in 2012, Ajay's Son Of Sardaar was pitted against Yash Chopra's Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Though Ajay emerged unscathed from that bout, a clash with Rajinikanth and Akshay will be a stupid decision on all counts, especially in a big budget magnum opus which is being touted as Asia's most expensive film. And if that was not enough then Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aankhen 2 also releases the same day.
Someone needs to tell Ajay pronto that David may not win in every fight of his against Goliath.
