On Sunday, a conversation between Kapoor and Kashyap discussing ‘international recognitions’ took an ugly turn after they began criticizing each other’s work. During the Twitter banter, Kashyap took a dig at Kapoor’s Oscar win after the latter made a tweet congratulating the team of Netflix’s Delhi Crime on their international Emmys win. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap reminded the senior actor how he was not the first choice for the movie, to which Kapoor said, “work is work.” The filmmaker-actor duo also criticised box-office collections. While the co-stars couldn’t stop tweeting, fans were scratching their heads and keeping scores wondering what’s happening.
