Akshay, Jacqueline, Sanjay react to the Hrithik-Kangana Scandal
Here’s a quick recap of how stars have reacted to the controversy that has taken Bollywood by storm
The Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut war has caught the attention of their fans. An alleged affair, slapping of legal notices, attacks and counter-attacks – you can’t really blame people for being hooked to this story as it unfolds.
The war of words has caught the attention of Bollywood stars too. Has the scandal left the industry divided? Not really.
Most stars have chosen to remain diplomatic about the issue, but some of them have spoken their mind out about it. And their answers range from expressing their support to having a good laugh about it.
Take Akshay Kumar for instance. When the actor was asked about the subject, the actor who resides in the same building as the Bang Bang actor good-humouredly joked, “War Bollywood mein kahaan, war toh meri building mein ho raha hai.”
Ditto Jacqueline Fernandez. At the wrap-up party of Dishoom, when the actress was asked about the Hrithik-Kangana war, she grinned mischievously and said, “Kaun jeeta? Kaun jeeta?”
Sanjay Dutt, who has a troubled equation with the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress, light-heartedly said, “Pehle main patch-up ho jaoon. Baad mein doosro ka dekhenge.” 
Amitabh Bachchan championed woman power but steered clear of the controversy by simply saying, “Just by sitting next to Kangana Ranaut at the National Awards ceremony, how can I comment on her behaviour and feelings?”
Vidya Balan was one of the few people who openly expressed her support for the Queen actress. She said, “I have the greatest admiration for Kangana because she has stood up for herself. As women, we find it easy to stand up for other people – for our family members, children, husbands, but we rarely stand up for ourselves. And she is standing up for herself. So kudos to her!”
