To avoid box-office clash with Salman Khan's Inshallah, apparently Akshay Kumar and the makers of Sooryavanshi preponed the film's release. However, Akshay has yet again found himself in a similar situation. The Mission Mangal male lead will lock horns with Aamir Khan on Christmas 2020. The actor shared the first poster of his next film titled Bachchan Pandey directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. As soon as the date was announced the box-office calendar found itself in yet another fix as Aamir Khan's next Laal Singh Chaddha is also releasing on Christmas 2020. The makers of the Khan starrer had announced their date way in advance in March 2019.

Going by first look we can say it is an out and out action flick for Akshay. Seen in black dhoti, with gold chains and nun chuck and a fierce expression on his face. Sharing the poster he wrote, "Coming on Christmas 2020! In & As #BachchanPandey 😎In #SajidNadiadwala’s Next, directed by @farhad_samji @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala". While Aamir has so far enjoyed solo releases for his flicks, besides Secret Superstar, Akki's immediate release Mission Mangal will also clash with John Abraham' Batla House.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed about this clash on his official Twitter handle, “The clash is CONFIRMED... Aamir [#LaalSinghChaddha] vs Akshay [#BachchanPandey]... #Christmas 2020.” Slightly shifting your focus from these two biggies locking horns at the box-office, it is also reported Krrish 4 of Hrithik Roshan and Luv Ranjan’s next starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are also aiming for the same spot.

Currently audience is eagerly waiting for Kumar's next release Mission Mangal, which is already assured to be a 100 crore club entrant by the viewers on its trailer release. The film also has Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.

Mission Mangal releases on August 15, 2019.
