Akshay Kumar-Farah Khan Fight Over, No ‘Joke’r Anymore
If a picture speaks a thousand words, a selfie speaks some more, especially this one, from the sets of Housefull 4. It says that Farah Khan and Akshay Kumar, who had a falling out in 2012, have let bygones be bygones, and literally buried the hatchet
Thanks to Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan, it’s a houseful of
frolic on the sets of Sajid Khan’s upcoming film, Housefull 4. Farah shared an
early morning selfie with the Gold superstar. She calls herself and Akshay the
“earliest birds” on the sets. We bet! When there’s so much catching up to do,
why wouldn’t you reach before rest of the gang, making up for the lost time.
This picture is Farah and Akshay’s first together since
the infamous Joker (2012) fiasco. Reports were that during the filming of
Joker, Farah’s husband, Shirish Kunder, antagonised Kumar, the film’s lead
actor and producer. The two men didn’t share the same production sensibilities
with regards to the film’s special effects and editing.

Akshay Kumar With Sajid And Farah Khan
Reports were that Akshay felt slighted by Shirish, and politely distanced himself from the project. Farah had sided with her husband, and not her Tees Maar Khan (2010) co-star. After repeated questions from the media, Akshay’s stance on the controversy had been brief and dignified. Talking to a section of the media, the superstar had said, “There is nothing to clarify... something was not right, so I just backed out. I have nothing against Farah and Shirish.”
After two years of strife, finally in 2014, reports of a patch-up between Farah and Akshay surfaced. Both were in attendance at Farah’s brother, Sajid Khan’s birthday bash. Onlookers say, they saw the actor and filmmaker hug and make up. But we haven’t heard or seen the two hanging out, or making films together – until now.
Farah is choreographing a special track in her brother’s
film, Housefull 4. Kumar will be dancing to her tunes, and this time, happily!
