Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar mourned the death of his Housefull 4 sound technician Nimish Pilankar. The actor paid his condolence to the family. Nimish passed away at the age of 29 after he suffered high blood pressure resulting in brain hemorrhage

Akshay Kumar mourned the death of sound technician Nimish Pilankar, in his recent Twitter post. The actor took to his Twitter handle, shared the news of Nimish Pilankar's demise, and offered his condolences to the sound technician’s family. Nimish was the sound technician of Akshay’s Diwali release, Housefull 4.  According to reports in India Today, he suffered high blood pressure, leading to brain hemorrhage. Nimish began his career in the stream of entertainment with Salman Khan’s film Race 3, followed by which we worked on Bypass Road and Marjaavan and few others in recent times.

Akki’s tweet read, “Very sad to learn about the passing away of Nimish Pilankar, that too at such a young age. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time.” Nimish who aged 29, was a resident of Mumbai and his early death also triggered a lot of discussion on the social media platforms, about the work pressure on sound technicians, employed in showbiz. Though not many renowned faces of the industry spoke about Nimish’s sudden early death, actor Vipin Sharma was seen joining the discussion. Vipin’s tweet read, “Many techs work over time n rarely get paid for that. Its terrible. Afraid to lose work they stay quiet n keep working. Many times they may not get fully paid as well while they already accept to work for less money in the first place. Rest in Peace Nimish Pilankar."

After the release of Housefull 4, Akki is busy with his upcoming film, Good Newwz starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.



In the year 2020, Akki will be seen on the silver screen in Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and Prithviraj.
