Akshay Kumar Opts Out Of A Signed Film Courtesy His Hectic Schedule; Rajkummar Rao To Benefit?
According to the latest buzz, Akshay Kumar had to back out of an already signed film due to his hectic schedule. Furthermore, Rajkummar Rao will be replacing him in the film, says the report
It is a well-established fact that actor Akshay Kumar always comes on the big screens with 3-4 films in a year. Apart from 2020, in 2019, Akshay released his four films - Kesari, Housefull 4, Good Newwz and Mission Mangal. After the lockdown, the actor is now rigorously wrapping up his films’ shoot while also signing more films back to back. Reportedly, he has close to 10 films in the pipeline. However, the latest report suggests that Akshay Kumar had to back out of an already signed film due to his hectic schedule.
As per a report in BollywoodHungama, Akshay had to opt out of a light-hearted comedy film, helmed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Jackky Bhagnani, as it was clashing with his other dates. Furthermore, it seems like Akshay’s loss has become actor Rajkummar Rao gain as the report mentioned that he may be replacing him in the film. A source has been quoted as saying, “Due to conflicting schedules, Akshay has decided to move out of this film. He has instead collaborated with Jackky on Mission Lion.”
Other than Rajkummar, the reports further stated the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor and is expected to go on floors this year only. If this report turns out to be true then this would be the second collaboration between Shraddha and Rajkummar after Stree.
Meanwhile, talking about Akshay Kumar’s films, his intriguing film list includes Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu. While Sooryavanshi which was scheduled to release in March 2020 is now expected to release on April 2, 2021.
