Akshay Kumar's patriotism is unquestionable. In one of his recent films, he narrated the story of 21 Sikhs who bravely faced 10,000 Afghans in the Battle of Saragarhi. The film was named Kesari and it was a hit. On the Saragrahi Day, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to pay his tribute to the martyrs. He took to Instagram and posted a still from his film wherein we can see everyone dressed as the Sikh soldier.

Akshay Kumar is the caption wrote, "My tributes to the Bravehearts of the 36th Sikh Regiment, 21 Against 10,000...a sacrifice which will forever be etched in the pages of history and our hearts  #SaragarhiDay." The film Kesari was a tribute to all the bravehearts and also starred Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role. Check out out his post below:


While this is the past, Akshay Kumar has many films in his kitty. On his birthday, a new film was announced. He has signed on Prithviraj by YRF which is also going to be a historical drama. Apart from that Akshay Kumar has Good News with Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the pipeline. Meanwhile, he will also be seen in Housefull 4 and Laxmmi Bomb. He has locked on most of the big festivals for the coming year for his films to release.

His last film was Mission Mangal which also starred Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari in the lead. It was also a hit and set a record at the box office.
