Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar is going through a rough patch in his career as his films have been getting flop at the box office. His four films back to back tanked at the ticket window and how his recent release Selfiee has failed to win hearts. In a recent interview, the Gold actor opened up about his movies getting flop and took up the entire blame on himself. The actor also mentioned that it is an alarm for him that it is time for a change.

Speaking with Aaj Tak, Akshay asserted that he can’t blame the audience or anyone else for that reason, it is his fault. He was quoted saying, “It is a great alarm, aapki film nahi chal rahi to galti aapki hai (If your films are not working, it is your fault). When your films flop in a row, it is an alarm for you that it is time for you to change.  He added, “Do not blame the audience or anyone else. It is my fault, 100%. Aapki film na chalna is not because of audience. It is because of what you selected. Maybe you have not given the right ingredients in the film.”

Meanwhile, Akshay’s latest offering Selfiee which also starred Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty earned Rs. 2.55 crore on its opening day. Bankrolled by Karn Johar, the film failed to perform at the box office.
