Akshay Kumar Reunites With Airlift Producer For An Action Entertainer; Actor Charging Rs 100 Crore For The Part – Report
Recent reports suggest that Akshay Kumar has signed an action entertainer with the Airlift producer Nikkhil Advani, however, the fees that the actor is charging will make you go bonkers
Unlike other Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar comes to the big screen at least 4-5 times in a year. In 2019 itself, Akshay had 3 releases which include Kesari, Mission Mangal and Housefull 4 and he has another one in lined-up and that is Karan Johar’s Good Newwz which is slated to hit the big screens on December 27, 2019. In fact, he has already lined up films for the next year that will have Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Prithivi and Laxmmi Bomb (we know, we are going to see a lot more Akshay onscreen) But wait, ladies and gentlemen, here we are talking about Akshay Kumar and do you think he is done here? Nope, he is certainly not!
If the latest reports are anything to go by, Akki has signed another film which is considered to be an action entertainer. According to Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed it by saying Kumar will be collaborating with Vashu Bhagnani and his Airlift producer Nikkhil Advani for a power-packed film. The report stated that the movie will be a mix of all Akshay, Vashu and Nikkhil’s style of filmmaking – action, emotion and entertainment. That’s not it, this Akshay starrer will also be hard-core, action drama which is said to be inspired from a real-life incident.
Akshay is said to have given his nod for the film where he will be essaying a role who will be seen on a mission. A large amount of the movie may be shot in London and it’s a big-budget extravaganza shot in international locales. Ahem, no, this doesn’t end here, the reports further suggested that Akshay and Vashu have been in talks for quite some time to do a movie together while Nikkhil was looking for a good script for Akshay, post Airlift.
However, as it is said that Akki has given his nod for this film, he will be charging a whopping Rs. 100 crore, thus making him the highest-paid actor in Bollywood. Guess, we are going to see him again on the Forbes’ Highest-Paid actors list. The report also said that the makers are also looking for a leading lady to cast opposite Khiladi Kumar.
