Akshay-Rajinikanth's 2.0 To Release On April 27, 2018; Will Clash With Kangana's Manikarnika & Tiger's Baaghi 2
In October, Akshay Kumar had taken to Twitter to reveal that Padman will hit theatres on January 26, 2018. SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that his other project, 2.0, which was scheduled on the same day, is most likely to announce a fresh release date.

Finally, better sense prevailed and the mega project will release on April 27, 2018. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to make the announcement. He wrote, “#BreakingNews: #2Point0 to release on 27 April 2018... Stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar... Directed by Shankar (sic).”

We had also informed you that a lot of work is needed to be done before 2.0 is ready for the audience. While both the movies are very different from each other, and very entertaining we are sure, it’s never a wise idea to share the same release date. They would certainly end up eating into each others’ collections and revenues.

However, with this release date, 2.0 will clash with three projects --Kangana Ranuat’s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 and Marvels’s Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers boasts of a huge fan following in the country, so that is massive competition.

Do you think it’s a good idea for Akshay’s film to release alongside Manikarnika, Baaghi 2 and Avengers: Infinity War? Share with us your thoughts in the comments below...
