Akshay takes 6 hours to get into his Robot look
Make-up artist Sean Foot has been brought in to create his distinct avatar for the sci-fi film
Akshay Kumar’s look for Robot 2 that was revealed a few weeks ago hasn’t been an easy one for the action hero to slip into.
SpotboyE has it that it takes the actor 6 hours to get his make-up done.
Make-up artist Sean Foot, known for his work in James Cameron’s epic Avatar, has created the look. We hear, Akshay reports early morning on the set and works with the acclaimed make-up man for hours on end to achieve his Robot 2 avatar.
What’s more, the producers of the sci-fi entertainer are spending between Rs 3-4 crore on the actor’s look alone.
“Before starting to shoot, Akshay had been to New York to get his costume trials done. He also had a couple of sessions for body mapping and motion capture which will enable the technicians during the post-production and advanced stages of shooting,” says a source close to the project.
