Alaya F REACTS On Sara Ali Khan Being The First Choice To Play Saif’s Daughter In Jawaani Jaaneman- EXCLUSIVE
Alaya F who marks her Bollywood debut with Jawaani Jaaneman wasn't the first choice to play Saif Ali Khan's daughter in the film; Sara was the one. So, when we engaged in a conversation with the actress, we pointed it out to her and here's what she had to say
Alaya F, the daughter of Pooja Bedi and Farhan Furniturewalla is pretty excited about her first film, Jawaani Jaaneman. In our interview, she rightly prefers to use the word ‘Excited’ replacing it with ‘Nervous’ as her film inches closer to the release date.
In the movie, Alaya essays the role of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter and we point out that in a recent interview, Saif had revealed that his real daughter Sara Ali Khan was the first choice for the role, but due to Kedarnath, she had to opt out.
Alaya F seems nonchalant as she replies, “I had read articles---- but I never asked anybody about it, neither the producers nor Saif. It never really bothered me.”
In the interview, the newbie also spoke about several other things apart from her debut film, which included her mother Pooja Bedi’s upcoming marriage with Maneck followed by the reconciliation between her mom and her grandfather, Kabir Bedi.
We also played rapid fire with the actress wherein she had to choose between the 3 Khans- SRK, Salman Aamir, then she had to pick between Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun and Deepika, Alia, Kangana. Alaya was pretty honest with her answers.
And yes, we also did a fashion segment with the spunky girl as she spoke about fitness mantra, her fashion secrets, trolls and lots more.
Jawaani Jaaneman also stars Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in main roles. The film directed by Nitin Kakkar is slated to release on Jan 31, 2020.
