Actor Alia Bhatt is all set to become a Kapoor bahu it seems, all thanks to the ring that she was spotted wearing today. Well, the actor was recently located at the Mumbai Airport with her beau Ranbir Kapoor and interestingly, shutterbugs captured Alia wearing a gold plated ring in her ring finger and as the picture was zoomed in, it had digit 8 written on it. What’s more intriguing is that reportedly, the digit 8 is the lucky number of Ranbir and the Kapoor family and she was seen wearing a ring with the same digit on it.
Long back, in a report published in Mumbai Mirror, when Rishi Kapoor had bought a new car, the number plate’s number added the total to 8. Neetu Kapoor’s blue SUV also has a number plate that added up to 8. "It's also because it coincides with Neetu's birthday, July 8, and everyone in the family makes sure that the registration number totals up to it," the source added, pointing out that even Ranbir's football jerseys always have the same number. Well, now that Alia is going to be a Kapoor bahu, she also seemed to be following the suit. Even though we may be reading too much between the lines, her gold ring has surely grabbed everyone’s attention.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have jetted off to the Maldives today as they were spotted at the airport. Earlier, both of them were tested positive for COVID-19 but now they have recovered from the virus and headed to a romantic getaway it seems.
For the outing, Alia was seen wearing a pale yellow top which she teamed with a white sleeveless denim jacket and matching jeans. Pulling her hair in a bun and strappy heels, Alia looked chic. Whereas Ranbir was seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue denim. The lovebirds were completely twinning with each other right from their attire, black sunnies to even their masks.
