In an interview with a leading daily, Alia Bhatt reveals her experience of shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for Brahmastra and what fascinates her about him
Alia Bhatt is pairing with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. While the two have wrapped up the first schedule of the venture in Bulgaria, whispers of the lead pair being more than just ‘good friends’ refuse to die down.
In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actress spoke about working with the actor. “I’ve always wanted to work with Ranbir. In fact, I was looking forward to the day I’d get to shoot with him because I’ve been fascinated by the way he steps into his characters. When we filmed together, it was exactly the way I had imagined it. He’s not only a fabulous actor but also a fabulous human being. It really doesn’t get better than a film set with Ayan and Ranbir on it.”
Talking about the Brahmastra schedule, she said, “It was a huge schedule. But when you are working with friends and family it never feels like too much work. Brahmastra is a first-of-its-kind for Hindi cinema. It’s our most ambitious film to date and I’m curious to see how people respond to this kind of content.”
When asked about her experience of working with Ayan, she quipped, “Ayan is my director by day, party planner by night and best friend for life. He’s my 4am buddy.”
Along with Ranbir and Alia, Mouni Roy will be seen doing
high-octane stunts.
