Alia Bhatt On Dubbing SS Rajamouli’s RRR In Telugu, ‘I Was Speaking My Lines For Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner’

After shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi at night, Alia Bhatt dashed off to Hyderabad to kick-start the shoot of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. The film also stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and several others in pivotal roles. A few days back, SpotboyE exclusively told you that the makers are not keen on releasing their film on an OTT platform. We told you RRR makers are looking forward to a theatrical release. Now many know Alia Bhatt will shoot the dialogues of RRR not only in Hindi but in Telugu too.
As Alia Bhatt marks her Telugu debut with Rajamouli’s RRR, she opened up on dubbing her dialogues in Telugu. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt said that shooting for RRR in Hindi and Telugu was a very different experience for her. She further stated that she used to speak her lines in sleep, and even while having her meal. She said, “Shooting for this film was a very different experience for me because along with Hindi, I also had to shoot in Telugu, which is a language I don’t know.”
“I literally lived with the lines for a year and a half. By the end of it, I was speaking my lines in my sleep. I was waking up and saying my lines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m extremely excited and thrilled to be a part of this film. To be directed by Rajamouli sir, and to work with these extremely talented and larger than life actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan Tej,” she added.
