The duo exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony today, on April 14 in the presence of their family members and close friends. Ranbir and Alia solemnized their wedding at Ranbir’s Pali Hill residence, Vastu. Their nuptials was an extremely private affair as it was attended by Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Ambani's among other close ones. While everyone has been waiting to see the first glimpse of Alia and Ranbir as a married couple, they have finally shared their first pictures as Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor on social media. The newlywed couple looked happy together in these pictures and needless to say, they looked like a match made in heaven. Ranbir and Alia twinned on their big day and can be seen head over heels in love. The two opted for pastel-themed attires and perfectly complimented each other. In one picture, the actor is seen kissing Alia on her forehead, another shows them striking a perfect pose together. One of the candid shots showed the actress beaming with joy, sitting next to Ranbir. The actress also posted a mushy photo of her and Ranbir locking lips and called it a 'special moment.' Alia and Ranbir’s Mehendi ceremony took place yesterday and it was attended by Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and cousins Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Alia’s family. Notably, the bride’s father Mahesh Bhatt wrote Ranbir’s name on his hand during the Mehendi function. On the other hand, Neetu Kapoor got her late husband Rishi Kapoor’s name written on her palms during the ceremony. The veteran actress shared a photo of her Mehendi adorned palms on her Instagram and in no time fans were left gushing.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in an intimate traditional ceremony at the actor’s residence, Vastu. The couple fell in love during the shoot of their film Brahmāstra and made their relationship official at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception in 2018.
