the younger daughter of actor-director Shashi Ranjan and founder of Indian
Television Academy, Anu Ranjan, is dating Avik Chatterjee, the elder son
of Anjan Chatterjee, who is the man behind popular restaurants like Oh!
Calcutta and Mainland China. Buzz is, the two have been seeing each other for a

Akansha is a
popular face on social media with over a lakh followers on Instagram and 8000+
followers on Twitter. Alia and Akansha are best of friends and have grown up
together. Be it birthdays or holidays, the duo’s social media accounts are
replete with pictures of them having a gala time
You may recall that in September last year, Alia took off to Spain to surprise
Akansha on her birthday.
The birthday girl, whom Alia fondly calls Kanchu, thanked her bestie, saying,
"Every time I feel you've given me the best birthday, you manage to top
yourself! Thanks for another year of having it all. This is the best surprise
ever, I love you." Overwhelmed, Alia lovingly responded, "Saat

Months before that, Akansha had helped Alia’s sister Shaheen plan her birthday
party.

Back to the couple. Professionally, Avik has been working with father was 4
years, but it was only last year that he was appointed as the head of
innovation and new formats of the company (Speciality Restaurants Ltd).
Akansha, on the other hand, is actively involved with her mother’s NGO, BETI.
