Alia Bhatt’s Bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor To Make Her Acting Debut Opposite Aparshakti Khurana
Alia Bhatt’s BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, sister of Anushka Ranjan who was seen in Wedding Pullav, is set to make her acting debut opposite Aparshakti Khurana in Ankit Tiwari’s music video, Tere Do Naina
Alia Bhatt’s best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is set to follow in her footsteps and step into showbiz. Kapoor will soon make her acting debut opposite Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurana, who was last seen in the Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon romcom, Luka Chuppi. However, it’s not for the big screen, as she will feature in Ankit Tiwari’s music video, Tere Do Naina.
Reportedly, the duo has completed the shoot of the song. Tere Do Naina was shot in Lucknow for over two days by Kookie Gulati. Talking about the song, Akansha told Mumbai Mirror, “I heard it and I was sold on it. Aparshakti is a good friend and Lucknow is a beautiful city with a great cuisine. I couldn’t ask for a better first experience.”
Further, when asked if Alia or her actress-sister Anushka Ranjan gave her any acting tips, she said, “I didn’t think too much and only focused on what the director wanted. The narrative was sweet and everything was pretty and filmy. It’s going to be the new love anthem, the new ‘ Galiyan’ (from Ek Villain).”
Akansha and Aparshakti’s Tere Do Naina is composed by Gourov-Roshin and Ankit Tiwari calls the new number, a melancholic ballad. He told Mirror that it is “perfect song for monsoon, the season of love”.
Alia and Akansha share a great bond and their pictures which they keep posting on social media are proof. A few months back, Alia and Akansha attended their best friend Kripa Mehta's wedding, spreading major BFF goals.
