The song titled Tere Do Naina sung by Ankit Tiwari has been released online and it shows the bittersweet love story of Akansha’s character Ritu and Aparshakti Khurana’s character Chanchal.
The actress shared the video on social media and wrote, “Akansha Ranjan my best friend looking and being beautiful in her first ever music video.. So proud of you baby girl.. This is just the beginning 🌸💕💃”
The video depicts the romantic love story of Chanchal and Ritu. Chanchal shoots a candid video of Ritu dancing on a terrace and uploads it on YouTube, making her an overnight sensation. Next, she gets called to Mumbai and is all around on the Internet. The story depicts how fame changes equations and relationships, something that we all can relate with at some level.
Tere Do Naina was shot in Lucknow for over two days by Kookie Gulati. Talking about the song, Akansha had told Mumbai Mirror, “I heard it and I was sold on it. Aparshakti is a good friend and Lucknow is a beautiful city with a great cuisine. I couldn’t ask for a better first experience.”
Further, when asked if Alia or her actress-sister Anushka Ranjan gave her any acting tips, she said, “I didn’t think too much and only focused on what the director wanted. The narrative was sweet and everything was pretty and filmy. It’s going to be the new love anthem, the new ‘ Galiyan’ (from Ek Villain).”
