New mommy Alia Bhatt is currently enjoying her time with her little munchkin and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, as she recuperates from giving birth to her daughter. Even though the actress is enjoying her much-needed break, her character, Gangubai Kathiawadi, has literally transcended oceans and left the audience inspired.

Recently, a renowned Malaysian boutique named Nik Aswat organised a fashion show, and the theme of the show was centred on the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The boutique took to their official Instagram handle and shared glimpses of the show through a video montage. Asking if their followers wanted to see the entire video, they wrote the caption, "GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI Nak tengok full? The videos showed models dressed in white gowns and sarees, with their hair in a tight bun that has roses attached. They completed the look with Alia’s iconic sunglasses, dark lipstick, and a huge bindi. For the unversed, the actress had donned a white coloured saree for the majority of the film. The boutique enhanced their video quality by shooting their models in stunning black-and-white.

Netizens couldn’t keep calm while watching the videos and congratulated the designers for their work and for accurately showing their interpretation of Alia’s character. On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Darlings. She will be returning to shoot for her upcoming movie Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani in a few weeks. The movie will mark the directorial debut of Karan Johar and star Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. She will also collaborate with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming movie, Jee Le Zara.
