Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi To Wrap Up This Week; Sanjay Leela Bhansali Eyeing Eid 2021 Release
Alia Bhatt's film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is on the verge of completion. The team will wrap up the shoot this week
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest opus Gangubai Kathiawadi is nearly complete. Last week, the director took a few days off while his leading Alia Bhatt is on a rejuvenating vacation.
The final shooting stint resumes this week.
A source in the know informs, “Alia was exhausted from shooting non-stop every night for Gangubai. Not that she ever complained. But it was SLB who suggested she take a few days off. To do so at this juncture when the film is nearly complete required a lot of guts. But Sanjay is very happy with Alia’s level of commitment. She reaches the set an hour before shooting starts and begins work on her lines.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has been posting some really refreshing and candid pictures from the shores of Maldives, where she is currently vacationing with her girl gang. Their last few pics where the girls are having fun on the beach, clad in super sexy neon bikinis, got a lot of attention on social media.
Talking about Alia's film with SLB, well the filmmaker is now eyeing an Eid 2021 release for Gangubai Kathiawadi.
