Alia Bhatt’s mother, veteran actress, Soni Razdan recently revealed that she did not know she was carrying her star daughter in her womb while she was working on the movie, Gumrah. Taking a walk down memory lane, recalling her 1993 film, the senior actress even made a startling revelation of sorts.
She said that she smoked many cigarettes for shooting a particular scene in the film, without knowing that she was pregnant. Gumrah that released in 1993 was directed by Soni’s husband, Mahesh Bhatt. It starred the late Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.

She took to twitter to recount, "One of my favourite films and highly appreciated roles...I was pregnant with Alia at the time and didn't know it yet.
