Alia Bhatt’s RRR Co-star Ram Charan Tests POSITIVE For COVID-19; Hopes To Come Out Stronger
South superstar Ram Charan informs his fans and followers that he’s tested positive for COVID-19. He adds that he’s asymptomatic and has quarantined himself at home
Ever since the industry has resumed work amid the pandemic, many from the entertainment industry are testing positive for the deadly virus every now and then. Recently, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul and Kriti Sanon among others had contracted the virus on the sets while shooting for their upcoming films. Now the latest actor to test positive for COVID-19 is South superstar Ram Charan. The actor had been shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR that also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in Hyderabad where he contracted the virus.
Ram Charan took to his social media handle to inform his fans and followers that he’s asymptomatic and has quarantined himself at home. Ram Charan posted a quote on twitter and captioned it, “Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon (sic).” His note read, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. No symptoms and quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger (sic).” Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt had been shooting with Ram Charan for RRR, a couple of days back. It was just yesterday that Alia updated her fans that she’s resumed Gangubai Kathiawadi’s shooting in Mumbai.
Coming back to Ram Charan, the superstar celebrated Christmas with his wife Upasana Kamineni, Allu Arjun, Niharika Konidela and their cousins celebrated together. Charan had shared a few pictures from the celebration on Twitter and wished everyone ‘Merry Christmas.’
On the work front, Ram Charan, who will next be seen in Rajamouli’s RRR, is co-starring in the movie with Jr NTR as yet another male lead. Alia Bhatt has been roped in as the leading lady.
