Alia Bhatt & Sidharth Malhotra’s Love Story Hits A Roadblock

Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt who have recently
patched-up, are going rock solid in their relationship. We had earlier told you
that the Kapoor And Sons (2016) stars will be seen on-screen, in Aashiqui 3,
being directed by Mohit Suri.
Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra Spotted Together
Reports have been flying on the internet that two have
also been cast for Vishesh Films’ production Sadak 2. Last night we told you
that the film is slated for release on October 31, 2018, and will clash with
the Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Down being produced by Prerna Arora.
Chances of Aashiqui 2 getting delayed are possible, because Sadak 2, will have to go on floors soon to meet its release date at the cinemas. Also, the makers Aashiqui 3, still need time to work on the script.
Talking about Sadak 2, apart from Alia and Sidharth, the
film will also star Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. Recently, Pooja Bhatt said in
an interview, “The story will start from where we left it. It is difficult to
imagine Sadak without Maharani (played by the late Sadashiv Amrapurkar), but it
would be incomplete without Sanjay Dutt."
Mahesh Bhatt said to a leading tabloid, “Sanjay who was 32 when we made the original, comes back as a 54-year-old Ravi into the 21st-century world that is collapsing in front of his eyes, where the distinction between the house and the ‘sadak’ is fast disappearing. The story has the emotional connect of the films I made back in the ’90s which brought a lump to the throats of the viewer. I could see that in the reaction of those present at the narration. They were visibly moved."
