In March, actor Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for Coronavirus due to which, Alia Bhatt had also quarantined herself in order to curb the spread. Fortunately, Ranbir recently tested negative and is all recovered from the deadly virus, however, now, his girlfriend Alia Bhatt tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram stories a few hours ago, informing that she ‘immediately isolated’ herself and is ‘under home quarantine’ while following all safety protocols under the advice of her doctors. While sharing the note, she also thanked her fans for the love and support.
Her note said, "Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care.” Just yesterday, the actor was spotted in the city as she stepped out to dub for her upcoming film, Brahmastra along with her beau Ranbir. Apart from the Saawariya actor, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiwadi’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also tested positive around the same time when Ranbir was diagnosed with it. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are now gearing up for their first film together which will be hitting the theatres this year.
Other than Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiwadi, Karan Johar’s Takht, Shah Rukh Khan’s production film, Darlings.
